Pros

You will learn a lot quickly, develop problem-solving skills, and learn to develop your own processes and tools because you won't get the resources, technology, headcount, or training you should have to perform your job. You will be so undervalued it's possible to triple your salary when you leave.

Cons

You will have to learn quickly because it is a sink-or-swim culture that makes everyone "learn the job before they get it". So you won't be compensated appropriately for the work you do. You'll be taken advantage of and promised raises and increases only to discover "the budget doesn't allow for a promotion" even though the work requires you to perform the job of your promised title without the pay. This will happen with every promotion you get and people will tell you "Randstad makes up for it eventually". Meaning, when you get to a high enough position, you will start making adequate money. Understand, that will not happen until after you are an SVP and then you too have the joy of treating people in this same way if you want your region to perform at the same level as your peers.
