Pros
Standard benefits, salary is average too - but that comes with the agency territory. The work is exciting and the team structure is small and fast paced. Great resume-building experience and client list. Company culture is good, employees are actually friends and hang out after hours. We went on a cruise at one point. I really enjoyed working at rain...
Cons
... until they were acquired by a NY agency called Crossboarders. The acquisition was sold to employees as a "merger" but it became apparent pretty quickly which way the money went. Unfortunately, the execs aren't very honest with employees. You always feel like they are spinning everything and it is hard to find out what is really going on. They are very exclusive and secretive and resist delegating any power or sharing information. Micromanaging and over-committing on work they don't understand translates into overtime and some pretty stressful weeks. They've been hemorrhaging their best talent for the past year and a half. It's hard to tell who is leaving voluntarily. Their lay-off strategy is to "disappear" people. One day you come to work and a co-worker is gone and management pretends they never existed. Sad to see such a cool company go downhill like this. Can't recommend them anymore to clients or potential employees.
