Owner/founder is eccentric, prone to making inappropriate comments (such as complaining that HR says she can’t refuse to hire people with tattoos.) You must fit in with the culture which requires donations to charitable causes multiple times a year and mandatory company social events. Your property could be on fire but you’d still have to be at Judy’s birthday lunch. Expect to be micromanaged. You will need to track every hour of your day on a spreadsheet (even if you manage one property) and don’t be surprised if a vice president calls you in the middle of the night because she saw something on NextDoor she wants you to address right now.
