Pros
Mostly given autonomy to run projects without any real direct oversight from senior management. Work with large and reputable clients so great exposure within industry.
Cons
The only direct impact to projects senior management chooses to engage in is limiting overtime for staff and cutting training programs. Team members are paid poorly and project managers have no authority to provide pay incentives. The only way to receive an increase in pay is to leverage an employment offer from another company. If a voluntary raise is issued its negligible at best.
