Pros

I really can not think of any because 'getting a paycheque for work" is a law, and should never be considered a 'pro'

Cons

There are a ton of these 1) Bad Senior Management (an old boys club that is counting down days to retirement) 2) Outdated Software (interface predates the birth of the younger employees) 3) Cheap Company (Free Apache Office Suite!) 4) Micromanagement to the extreme (every minute must be accounted for) 5) Shill projects (seriously I worked on projects I know aren't real) 6) Cold stale environment non conducive to working (you can hear a pin drop - on carpet!) 7) No advancement opportunities until current manager retires/dies (not one person ever moved up in the 5 years I was there and most of the current management has been there at least 20 years) 8) High turnover (A 40 hour project would have different people working on it at the end than started it because somebody moved on to greener pastures or had been let go) 9) Relatively few clients (4 banks, an insurance company, and a couple of mutual fund companies in a country that has over 400 charted financial companies) 10) Broadridge takeover did nothing to improve things (we all hoped it would - it didn't) 11) Non-competitive pay (20% less than the banks for the same experience level)
