Pros

Some ability to learn in this environment. Basic training on how to practice as an industrial psychologist.

Cons

Let me tell you the REAL truth... -Prepare to be leveraged by senior partners who literally just see you as a resource with a margin over your head. -They don't understand how to compensate. Consultants don't make near the money they expect. Many great consultants leave when they truly understand what's going on. -Passive aggressive and ego driven culture. What they say is not what they do. Highly political under the surface. -Poor values. I never heard anything about values, actually. In the absence of any values conversation, leaders and consultants behaved badly. -They are just not that good. At one point, they were a top firm. Now, they are very mediocre. Don't expect high quality colleagues. -Do your homework. Actually speak to anyone who has ever left this firm. They will tell you the real truth. If you are able to break through the BS, current "partners" will also tell you that everything I write here is the real truth, too.

Pros

Work from home. Low stress.

Cons

A tendency toward analysis paralysis drastically slows down decision-making and innovation. Combined with a rigid hierarchy and limited upward mobility, the constant overthinking of projects makes it difficult to advance both professionally and operationally.
