REM Analytics is a truly multidisciplinary place where you are encouraged to grow with the company. It lies at the intersection of computational biology, microbiology and engineering. The small team is composed of passionate people who will try their best to be innovative and challenge the status quo.

There is immense trust given to you and freedom to truly contribute, which can go well or not depending on the level of guidance that you need.

The project is very multi-disciplinary. Involves modelling, wet-lab work, statistics. Since it is a start-up there are many different things to do and learn. Great place to intern! The team is multi-cultural, open and very friendly.

The pay is a bit low (considering it is a start-up). Auto-sufficiency is necessary: many projects are open ended and there is little supervision. This is not as bad if you are creative and like challenges.
