Pros

The flexibility is great, work is simple and not demanding, no boss hovering over you

Cons

Since the onset of new work (scanscape) we are no longer in control of our pay, there is no piece work and pay is minimum wage for that type of work. The higher paying jobs are going away and living on minimum wage is difficult. We used to have access to our productivity stats but that has been taken down. We have no way of telling where we stand in regard to pay. There is a recognition program but now without access to our productive stats we have no way of telling if we qualify. There is also something called Halo points that can be distributed by your District Manager if you go above and beyond but those are few and far between. The top management has no regard for your dedication and has created a mistrusting environment.

Pros

Flexible, easy to learn the basics and complete self-paced training, and a good option for side income that can work around a main job or busy life. They have a help line to call for trouble with jobs and questions. If you have to leave a voicemail, they are usually pretty good about calling back fairly quickly.

Cons

Sometimes you have to figure out how to do certain jobs on the fly if you haven't done them before, so it can feel a bit like being tossed in and expected to sink or swim. They do have a help line to call if you have trouble figuring it out, though.
