Pros
Small company, everybody knows everybody
Generally nice people
Cons
The longer you work there, the more they expect you to devote your life to the company
You will get calls at 7PM on a Friday night telling you that they need you to work at 6AM the following morning
You will work lots of overtime
When you ask for time off they guilt trip you to try to get you to work.
They will get very upset at you over very small mistakes
Lower level employees are just a part of the machine. Their only purpose is to do what the higher ups want done.
The company is living in the stone ages. All paperwork and communication is done on literal paper. Hardly anything at all is digital, and that sets this company back several decades from all other engineering firms.
Communication is terrible. You will be given a vague description of what the boss wants you to be doing, but if you don't do it exactly the way he wants, even though he didn't tell you, you get in serious trouble.
