Pros
Very small teams and your manager is really helpful. You can get time-off as you need/want. Salary hikes used to be really good earlier (prior to 2026) Highly collaborative team
Cons
Since the lay-offs this January 2026, the workload has really increased a lot. We were a team of 4 and now it's just the 2 of us. If even one of us is on leave, the entire workload is on the other which is highly problematic since you sometimes have to work 10 to 12 hours - as you're the only one in the team. You are expected to complete all your work on matter what. No salary increase this pay cycle, even though responsibilities have increased, workload has gone through the roof and I think that's the main reason any person who finds decent opportunities are leaving.
