No matter how good the product is, the lack of brand recognition will always keep sales a step behind. The CMO thinks leasing Porsches and uninspiring speeches about digital transformation will make the company great again, but the truth is Qlik is a market leader, not a marketing leader. The TB decision makers have a lot to think about in between rounds of golf with Stenstrom. High turnover, layoffs, and underperforming regions are a result of an unclear long game, dicey leadership, and the realization that bottom line means more than the workforce. People are not first.
