DM of Alberta is a bully no matter your rank - Sales Associate/Keyholder QE Home Employee Review

The DM (D.U) is a huge bully. She chooses favourites and I know because I was one until she started talking down about my home store manager in front of me and I stood up for her. She was constantly undermining and bullying my manager in front of associates. She told me that my store manager is incompetent of teaching me things and that I needed to learn at another location to take it back to them. I loved that job however whenever she was in the store everyone felt uncomfortable because our manager was constantly at the hand of her comments. She would talk over you to customers in the store that you were helping and take over any sale that she sees and then "coaches you" on how you could have made the sale better when they left because shes extremely pushy and you can tell it made them very uncomfortable. It made it very hard to want to work while she was there because you know that no matter what you do she was going to jump in and speak over you and then criticise you on the sale afterwards. She never had any positive reinforcement, it was always negative. I have gotten multiple customer compliments so constantly hearing her criticism was hard to take and made me not want to work there anymore. She also told the employees that if we need a transfer from another store we need to be prepared to go there ourselves (even just as a sales associate) when she picks it up and brings it to every other store.
