Pros
Pay is actually not bad. Depending on your department you COULD have good coworkers. Place is ok aesthetically with nice offices; the place was recently remodeled. Major execs work on the second floor and others work on the first floor. Lunch is 1 hour for office people and shop workers get 30 minutes with 2 breaks.
Cons
The shop has a very bad turnover rate. Workers get terminated unjustly, laid off without warning, or leave because other companies offer better benefits. Tardiness DOES NOT go unnoticed even if you are one minute late. The next point cannot be stressed enough: the place is generally unfair to new workers who expect them to be experts from the get go. Upper engineering management is constantly on peoples back with ridiculous time demands. Even when work gets completed fast, it sits on the managers desk for days waiting to be looked over and approved. Organization is usually a constant issue. Projects sometimes have to come back to the drawing board because something was missed. People who have worked there for a long time are generally full of themselves and easily get annoyed. Since the place is so small, there is no room for advancement unless you get a raise. Place has been known to let people go, only to call them back later because they need help with demand. They are suppose to give training but it often doesn't happen. They just give no time to let people understand every aspect of the job, which in this industry, is usually meant to take as long as a year.
