Pros

The ability to rely on oneself to return results. Coworkers were pleasant to work with and all intelligent.

Cons

No mentorship, training, or room for growth. Hiring and firing quickly and quietly as well as focusing on contacts rather than training talent is a recipe for disaster. There are growing pains in any young company, however there is no communication, and a huge separation between the few employees around the CEO and then there is everyone else.

Pros

Product: The Pypestream product offering, while still growing, is quite strong and really outperforms some of the major players in the space. Work-Life Balance: Respectable work-life balance, but this seems to be trending in the wrong direction. Fully remote. Team: Some of the hardest working co-workers I've had the chance to work with.

Cons

Benefits: No 401k match and company healthcare plans are still quite expensive. The generosity of options is noted, but they likely have no real meaning or value. Culture: It comes with the territory of being fully remote, but there is no real culture. Outlook: Pypestream has some great logos, but the direction of the company seems to have stalled out with more churn than growth. They haven't seemed to find a good market fit despite having a competitive product. The Marketing and Sales teams in particular have struggled over the past year due to a lack of understanding the Pypestream product and the competitive landscape.
