During my time at Pyper Inc, I learned about the workflow of a graphic design/marketing agency and how to work with a wide range of brands/clients. I not only learned how to work with a creative team but to collaborate with different departments, view graphic design through marketing lenses, and how prioritize my work.

The only con was the far drive! even though I love the in-person internship driving across the bridge in the morning was my only complaint.

- Got a taste of agency life! Worked on projects, participated in meetings, etc. - 101 Meetings helped me learn about other departments and how they work! - Collaborated with other departments - Learned about filing systems - Occasional free lunches during meetings!

- Was myself unpaid, but Pyper has now started paying their interns minimum wage as of 2024! - As an intern, I never had to stay overtime, but employees mentioned frequently having late nights due to workload and small staff - Worked more on in-house designs for Pyper than clients
