Pros

A great business model. Some super smart and nice people. Good location in the heart of midtown. A nice break room.

Cons

I don't know about the rest of the company but some people treated horribly in my department (IT). One year I am promoted, the next I am put on a performance plan for same performance. Despite doing everything asked on the plan, I am given the choice to resign at the end. Forced me to quit without any severance. This was done to a number of others also. A snr manager told me we were all going to be forced out no matter how the performance plan went. Worst episode of my life/career. Thankfully I have found a good new job but still dealing with the stress and anxiety this caused me. So much for powering people to a better life.

Pros

Great people who work very well together. Lots of great tenure which creates ample opportunities to learn from experts. The now former CEO (Trey) is a genuinely nice person who takes every opportunity to engage with people at all levels. Most people are very easy to work and collaborate with. People are always willing to help.

Cons

Very heavy workloads that are not sustainable long term, it's challenging to be effective and strategic in your role when competing projects/tasks consistently pull you in various directions. The organization thrives in chaos which can be difficult to acclimate if you are accustomed to getting things done as there is little to no time to focus to actually execute. There are countless hours/days spent on tasks or unmeaningful work, often repeat work that consumes your time that leave you absolutely drained at the end of the day. The level of micro management and task delegation is something like I've never experienced.
