This is the biggest issue... Moving up is promised... You are hired for 1 positioned trained for the 1 above you. You do the work for the job above, and get no pay extra. Was suppose to be hired for assistant manager was told 3-6 months. I've excelled at my job so far that we don't need a manager. Still in the same position 2 years later as a Key holder. The target audience for the products are the lowest possible class citizens Constant flow of drug addicts who are high, and drunks who are drunk coming in Some stores not placed in very safe areas Managers are horrible(most), they do absolutely no work and push what they should do on other employees. They will tell you one thing and burn you later saying no I didn't say that. Even if you show him what they said in an email, and its very clear will still deny it. The pay for you get even if you get commission is not worth the amount of stress, and stupidity you deal with. Most customers are illiterates Products are not made well ,and if your on the front line you get the bulk of the burn from customers. Many phone defects that caused big issues were slowly fixed. I mean really slow like a year+ later. The managers will lie to anyone, even people above him. Would go into detail, but then it would be easy to point out who I am. Manager puts down employees, making them feel bad about personal things. But he's not disciplined just told not to do it since it doesn't breach anything in hr policies.
