Pros
Employee Benefits is 10/10 especially if you have dependents. Training is available and paid for by the company you just have to pass it. Some industry certifications have an automatic increase in salary or cash benefits (LOMA, Acutarial Exams etc.) During employee townhalls/events they always splurge in rewards and experience. Performance Objectives/Review/Rewards is your weapon for career advancement.
Cons
Lack of Change Management, the leaders will just implement changes without managing the expectations and aligning the staff. Company Politics is just like in the Philippine Government very dirty and self serving. For the Company Culture, the dominant sub-culture are 1. silo mentality 2. crab mentality 3. If you are manager your direct report or people who are not in your level should address you with Ms/Sir 4. HR is not HR-ing, you can't depend on them good thing our HRBP is very professional. 5. Leaders only think and care for themselves and exploit their staff. 6. The end justifies the means, they wouldn't care if they will step on anybody as long as they get what they want. 7. If you want career growth and want to explore other opportunities inside the organization may it be local or other LBUs you will be subjected to gaslighting. 8. Most managers are Gas lighters and victim blamers.
