Pros
- Super cool coworkers - best office culture I've experienced by far - Diversity - lots of different ages and cultures - Nice office interior - lots of greenery and a great layout - Friday drinks - fully stocked bar at all times, heaps of people always stay back and we have a massive balcony, great for sinking a few whilst watching the sun set - Free coffee, cereal, fresh fruit and chips! - Some great processes in place and seeing more of a focus on process improvement now - I go home on time more often than not, and never work extreme hours - Interesting, engaging work - never feel like I'm staring at the clock! - No dress code! (Unless you're a suit lol)
Cons
- Seemingly high staff turn-over - Sudden redundancies of staff - can make you question your job security - Lack of women at the top - they like to brag that leadership is around 50/50 but I only really see women in leadership in a couple of departments, it's not evenly spread across the business. Plus the top tier has zero women! - Lack of focus on career progression - they do not have development plans in place, and only discuss careers progression during annual reviews
