Pros

Really great company culture. Management is approachable and really cares about its employees and their growth. Decent compensation package but below national average

Cons

I travel almost 95% of the time. Sounds nice, but with a family at home its not ideal. Benefits are nothing to write home about and there are some growing pains with promotion schedules. Seem to promote based on time not necessarily qualifications. I have seen some great talent leave because they were not promoted even though they were being given the responsibilities of someone a level or two above them

Pros

Great opportunity to grow as an individual based off of your technical and behavioral skillset.

Cons

If you are not assigned to a client, you could be on the bench which will affect your bonus.

Pros

Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

Cons

Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
