Pros

Protiviti has an upbeat, young culture. Their office in Chicago is very up-to-date and relatively trendy, especially compared to other consulting firms. Management has "open door" policies and are easily accessible.

Cons

Protiviti, being a smaller firm, doesn't have as many opportunities for entrepreneurial growth on projects (eg, networking within the organization and finding other projects you'd like to be staffed on).

Pros

Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

Cons

Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
