Pros

- Easy starter... the people. You won't work with a more humble group of geniuses anywhere. - Office environment is really fun, warm, collaborative and engaging - Events have a lot of thought put into them. Celebrating DEI initiatives or celebrating company wins, whatever it is, it's meaningful and always leaves you buzzing - Leadership team is amazing. C-suite all genuinely care about the team and that then trickles down to other managers - The product legit has real world impact. You can see how much it benefits the customers and it's super cool to work on something (even when you're not technical) and know it's making a difference - Equity is offered, so when you leave, it's nice to know you're still part of the journey - Tummies are well looked after. Always snacks available, lunches often provided (usually weekly), beers in the fridge are a great touch, especially on a Friday arvo when people like to hang out for a bit

Cons

- With growth comes an unpredictable need for more meeting rooms, sometimes in the office you can't get the space you need - Like you'd expect at a scaleup there's no real "down time". It's always busy, but this is why celebrating the wins means so much because we often move onto the next thing really quickly, so making time to celebrate is something I appreciated. - If you're a part of a very globally spread team, it's tough not getting to physically spend time together

Pros

The people at Propeller, especially on the frontline teams, are what make it worth showing up every day. Colleagues are hardworking, supportive, and passionate about what they do. Frontline managers go above and beyond despite little recognition from senior leadership. It’s a good entry-level spot if you’re looking to get your foot in the door, but if you’re serious about building meaningful SaaS experience, you’ll likely want to look elsewhere.

Cons

Compensation is far below market, especially given the demands of the role. The company enforces aggressive targets without offering bonus structures. Leadership seems either disengaged or focused on the wrong priorities. Systems are a mess—salespeople are asked to duplicate work across HubSpot, Gainsight, and endless spreadsheets that wastes time and kills productivity. There’s a clear gap in SaaS experience at the top, and it shows.
