Pros
- Flexible working hours and remote-first setup. - Some incredibly smart and kind colleagues who care deeply about the product
Cons
- Extremely toxic work environment. There is a culture of fear, micromanagement, and confusion intentionally seeded by leadership. - Incompetent leadership team. Many senior leaders and managers lack the experience needed for their roles, yet constantly talk in abstract buzzwords and grand plans without substance. They are often more interested in maintaining control than building a healthy culture. - Micromanagement is rampant. Teams are not trusted to make decisions, and even small tasks are heavily scrutinised. Leadership often contradicts itself and causes unnecessary confusion across departments. - Promotions are political. People who spend time appeasing leadership are rewarded with promotions, while genuinely skilled and hardworking team members are overlooked or quietly pushed out. - High turnover and forced exits. Many talented people have left voluntarily, and others were let go without clear justification. The environment creates burnout and anxiety, with people afraid to speak up or even ask basic questions. - Lack of psychological safety. Feedback is welcomed only when it is flattering. Raising genuine concerns, suggesting improvements, or challenging ideas is often met with hostility or silence.
