Pros
None regarding management or the company itself - some colleagues at the time were nice enough
Cons
The most unprofessional workplace I’ve ever worked at. Awful language such as the “C” word gets thrown about like it’s nothing (by directors and management). Lots of false promises made throughout the years, and you’re never truly cared about as an employee - they only think of themselves and the financial state of the company (which isn’t great at all). Feels quite like you’re back at school with the micromanagement - however much you prove yourself, you’ll still be treated like children. Internal personal relationships, such as management/employee relationships cause a lot of problems for the rest of the employees - seems to be one of the biggest reasons a lot of people have left the company over the years as people can’t deal with the favouritism and the feeling of having to report to someone with no authority, just because of their relationship with management. Can very much come across as bullying and aggressive behaviour. Also, not to mention the inappropriate comments/behaviours throughout the company from certain colleagues but also high level management. I think most of the above happens because there is no official HR, so you can’t make the necessary complaints or raise certain situations as you have to go to the director. Anything you feel you are able to raise, usually either gets laughed off and nothing changes or offence is taken and ends up in an unprofessional argument. I just would recommend to stay away at all costs!
