Great Benefits but a lot to learn! - Customer Service Associate Progressive Insurance Employee Review

Pros

Company pays well, great benefits, interview process was easy.

Cons

The training takes a total of 12 weeks, with taking live calls during some of those weeks. A lot to learn in order to navigate the system. You will have to switch shifts every year or as they said bid on a new shift. This could be positive or negative depending on the hours you need.

Pros

Great supervisor, and great coworkers. Training was good and I left training fully able to do my job with confidence. Sometimes we have fun meetings to attend. Can work in office when we want which is nice on days I want to get out of the house since I work remotely.

Cons

Low pay for work load and responsibilities. Extra responsibilities don’t equal extra pay. Very micromanaged and timed per task which can be stressful if a task takes longer than it should due to circumstances outside of your control. Low raises even with high performance rating.
