Pros
If you like to drive, that's the only pro.
Cons
PA office. 1099 job but you're really a W2 because they micromanage every aspect of your job, from the hours they don't allow you to drive, local office workers are required to call and schedule your orders, they STOP dispatching orders all orders and send out a set list of jobs they say are the only ones they will give out which is a violation of the 1099 contract. This company is ripe for a lawsuit for misclassifying workers and if you are reading this as a current employee, feel free to reach out to me regarding a class action lawsuit. The pay is also terrible and they will low-ball the order rates to where after your basic expenses such as gas and tolls, you will be making less than minimum wage. There is also favoritism where they allow some drivers to literally come in the office at the computer and handpick the rides they want, like a wife and husband driver team that cherry picks any orders they want. The office team barely responds to emails and calls, and you can go days after you request an order with no response and they will take their sweet time processing your invoices for you to be paid weeks can go by without invoice being approved. Avoid at all costs.
