Pros
The job itself lured me in at first, and the culture kept me there. I have never had a job that made me feel so valued, protected and professional as this one, from the president to the receptionist. I learned early on that it takes a certain constitution to be successful at Probe, but I also learned that hard work, consistency and honesty is the key to success. The idea of being an investigator lures a lot of folks to apply for the job, but the successful people have something that can't be measured. Those who write bad reviews about Probe are those who have failed because they would not or could not step up to the extremely high standards which Probe and their clients rely on. It really only "hurts" for the first year because the job itself is REALLY hard to learn. Once mastered though, it is rewarding, fulfilling, and really really fun. I know for a fact that Probe pays some of the highest wages in the industry, but better than that are the overall benefits from top to bottom. Hard work is recognized consistently and in meaningful ways I only left because I moved to another state, and believe me it broke my heart. I felt "at home" at Probe, but I made friends that will last my lifetime. If I ever moved back to California, Probe would be my first call.
Cons
I honestly can't think of any.
