The office culture did not encourage creativity, novel solutions, ownership and responsibility, nor intellectual discourse about machine learning and writing software. You are given your tiny piece, told to work on it and it alone, and then wait eagerly for your next thing. * A startup that has the uptight, stuffy, restrictive culture of a fortune 500. * CEO and founder regards employees as objects: things to be used in his quest to build a company. He sweet talks people to join and then does an about-face once you've signed on the dotted line.
