Pros

You get free time all you want, but just remember that you still have to feed these greedy company/CEO with your money in your day off, really there are no "free" day off. No pros.

Cons

Based on objective points that I personally can testify, here are some of my experiences working with them; 1. You have to come up with disproportionate sum of money that goes into their pocket as an "installment" before you even close to make any profit. However unlike many business, where you are the boss of your own thing, you have these people that told you what to do, where to go, wake up at a minutes noticed, call you without consent, disregarding the private hours of their partner ( you, thhe owner operator is listed as their "partner", a facade they made to make you feel a little better about yourself) 2. No honor system, The dispatcher WILL NOT give you a good run unless you do what they say. rejecting their absurd request is a perfect ground to get scrutinized. They will give you bad business, and you will keep losing money. Favoritism at best. 3. ZERO Money accountability Despite of being a wonderful and loyal owner-operator as you are, they will never give you anything in return, instead they will take your money tips when you are not looking. At times, when you are tired and exhausted from driving for God-know-how-many-hours, its nice to have tips on top of those lousy fares to cover gas expenses. Well, too bad this company will take that from you as well if you are not looking/being careless with your weekly statements. Happened too many times. There were one incident when I substituting another driver(owner-operator), I found a tip attached to the said trip, when I asked where is my money, they said, "too bad the customer paid it electronically to XXX" When I double check, the other driver never received the tip either because he simply didn''t have the trip listed in his statement. Until this day, I never see those money. Take guess where those money tips go? 4. Harmful for your living being and create many health problems. I was a very active person until I made this mistake. I gained 40 pounds when I was working with them. Due to the nature of the job, you will have a very little rest/sleep and focus on driving; sitting all day in your van waiting for a call is not a healthy lifestyle. Yes, you can choose to work out, living a life, get a vacation, Keep in mind you still have to pay your weekly fee charged by this company, its part of what you are signed for. Good business for them, bad business for you. To put cream on top, you can imagine the so called "CEO" in the very same moment may have all the vacation he wants at your expense. 5. Bad pricing Very bad fare pricing, minus 25% goes to their pocket. Another catch; In any circumstances you get special fares that includes ".GO" you can be sure that you have lost your money by doing that business. They cut 15% off the total fare, minus another 25% as part of the agreements that you are signed for. Can't compete with the next company in terms of volume and pricing. I am sure there are a lot of great opportunities lay ahead in your life, if you cross out this company from your list, you can save time, money and health. Hope this helps.

Pros

The only pro I can honestly say exists at this company is that most of the people who work there are nice. They try to do a decent job without the needed resources. I feel badly for them.

Cons

There are so many. But, number one is the owner/CEO. He doesn't deserve the title he gave himself because it implies he has earned it. A CEO is supposed to be a leader. This, he is not. Unfortunately, the people who have been with this company for decades have limited career options so they stay quiet (except behind closed doors where they all think he is a joke). He is truly an Emperor with No Clothes. I have never worked for such an incompetent "leader" in my life. His only objective is to see how much money he is making each day while driving his employees to work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Every employee has the same opinion about this guy - no one trusts his "leadership".
