Pros

- i suppose you'd get to see all the new stock before anyone else?

Cons

-£6.60 ph pay at over 21 years old - (in London as well) - the training and induction day was run by a woman who had only been working at Primark for 4 months herself. - even after agreeing hours at interview and on a follow-up call the day before training, they still managed to present me with a completely different contract and proceeded to tell me the original hours i had applied for were no longer in existence. - I then told them I did not wish to work there anymore and did not sign any contract/ receive uniform, etc. No further contact for a month. - Received a 3rd (?!) warning letter out of the blue, summoning me to a meeting (that was on the day before I received said letter) to discuss discontinuing my employment due to absence. - Sent me email the next day telling me to return staff cards and electronic equipment because my employment has been terminated. - Sent me an email the day after telling me I still to fill out my details on the pension scheme. - I do not, and did not ever work for them, I have a job elsewhere, at the place I rang during the training and induction day once I realised just how unorganised they were. They need to communicate within their departments and get it together.

Pros

You get lots of PTO up front as a part timer and can gain flex hours overtime. Get a 50 cent raise every six months.

Cons

Was told during onboarding that if a Christian comes into the store spreading the gospel, I have to kick them out. This includes the mention of the Jesus without the church invite. Managers claim its rude and if a customer does it, they get booted. Faced harassment from a customer and management didn't let me switch too a different department. Extremely high turnover rate and managers don't replace them, making your job more stressful during peak hours. Hard to use PTO. Little to no training. Too many bachelor and master holding part timers who get lucked out of moving up in the company. Managers give some people no task while pilling on multiple tasks on one person. Too many managers to deal with (and usually never find) and the full timers make you do the dirty work while they "unpack boxes". Its a pro-LGBT anti christian company. If they want to be pro-LGBT, than more power to them. But anti-Christian is discriminatory and unnecessary.
