Pros
This is a family and locally owned company. Price Brothers gave me a sense of community when I first started with the company. There was room for growth and encouragement to continue learning. It was a little behind the times in regards to technology, but I felt like I was a part of a team within my own community and also within my loop/region.
Cons
Favoritism. Corporate office gets treated differently. Certain employees get treated differently. Some people get in trouble for minuscule things while others can get away with the worst. Pay rates, commissions, etc are not competitive to other companies in the area. Lots of turnover. Hard to keep maintenance personnel around long due to wages and inconsistencies. Hard to maintain the property because no updates are approved and money that is budgeted is constantly taken away. Lots of changes were introduced over the past few years and the company feels very disorganized right now. There is a lot of turn over happening and I feel it’s because the upper management/ownership team doesn’t take the time to talk to their people on the front lines. Vocalizing concerns can be turned around on you so be careful how you present them.
