Pros
- Unlimited PTO. - Remote work if you don't live near an office (hybrid model if you do). - Autonomy to get work done without a lot of micro-management if you are in the right department. - A lot of good people at the organization doing great work despite an uncertain future.
Cons
Company is being acquired by Qualtrics/Silver Lake. There is a lot of uncertainty around the future, causing a significant drop in morale since the announcement late last year. Most people are scared of losing their jobs once the acquisition is complete, and since it is still under federal review, leadership has given next to no information on what any of those changes will look like, or any departments/products will be impacted. They talk of "synergies" between the companies, which sounds like a nice thing, but is really just a buzz word to say that Qualtrics/Silver Lake is going to fire a lot of people once everything is finalized to save money for their rich, evil private equity overlords. Qualtrics boasts AI in everything they do, so like most other white collar technology companies right now, trying to find ways to make themselves and the majority of their workers obsolete to save a few bucks all with the guise of improving client experience.
