Pros

Unfortunately, the Presidio Pros are a short list. In my experience, the office co-workers (excluding mgmt) were what made it tolerable to go to work. They are personable, talented, provided all of my on-boarding & ramp-up training (although not required to do so), and helped anywhere possible to ensure success. The other notable benefit to the job was a flexible work environment. You could choose to work from home, office, or both and come and go as you please.

Cons

I'll attempt to layout the "cons" in a short concise manner. Training- There is no formalized training program. When you come onboard, you're thrown to the wolves. The only help I received was from non-mgmt co-workers who were kind enough to teach me valuable industry technologies. Good Luck! Mgmt- Most that I encountered provided no value. They didn't provide on-boarding, ramp-up or ongoing training. This includes company policies, internal software use, client/vendor partnerships, internal workflow, etc. I don't need someone to hold my hand, but guidance & knowledge transfer is always helpful. They don't care about employee morale, development, personal life, or YOU. Their ONLY focus is hitting numbers. CRM- Presidio doesn't have one. They have a homegrown solution in place to track legitimate leads that mgmt uses to belittle sales/engineering when deals don't close as projected. Sales- Based on what I witnessed, if you don't sell you're fired. It's a very cutthroat environment selling commodity hardware that's no different than the re-seller up the street. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Engineers, you're over worked, excessive travel, and underpaid. Sales, it's a cutthroat job. Mgmt looks at you like the commodity hardware you sell, under appreciated & easily replaced. The majority of the people I worked with haven't been with the company longer than 1.5 years and they're always hiring. I wish I would have taken the advice I found on glassdoor. Think long and hard before you join this company because you may be looking for a new career long before you wanted to like the countless others who came before you. With so many underachieving reviews, can we all be bitter employees?????

Pros

Tons to learn and open to trying new tactics

Cons

Lots of change lately. New leaders who don't fit the culture and in some cases are changing what was a great place to work to one where people are not valued as much.
