Pros
The management knows what they are doing and have most likely been in your shoes and know your job. Coworkers that have been there for a while take you under their wing and are really helpful. You get health, dental and vision.
Cons
The turnover rate in the PAS department is super high, everyone is treated as entry level and gets paid the same, even when you try to negotiate a higher rate of pay, and even if the department you end up being a PAS in requires much more than the standard registration and basic prep work. Communication between leadership and staff is not fantastic and they don't always tell the truth. There is no grace period on attendance so you automatically get half a point for being 1-3 minutes late (6 full points to corrective action).
