Pros
Some good people work there but like every company you’ll have to deal with stupidity, petty backstabbing, and a lack of appreciation in every department. Plus, there’s a mini salad bar with a couple of toppings. Ingredients are bought on Monday and by Friday it’s all wilted but still free.
Cons
Ever see Downton Abbey? Watch 5 min of Thomas and O’Brien and you’ll understand what at least 50% of management is like. Not just lower level management/employees but middle and upper level management. Many issues include ignored employee theft that was reported; sexual and racial harassment/blackmail that was seen/heard and reported but ignored (employees who report occurrences were told that they could find another job- offenders were in management and “harder to replace”); illness policies and mismanagement/secrecy of employee health issues; mismanagement of assault and battery (one employee hit another due to a “that’s what she said” joke- physically offended employee filed a police report and sought medical attention independently after the company failed to respond. Offending/assaulting employee was told by company to write an apology letter. Offended employee still unsatisfied with company’s response but was told she could leave and find another job); and completely demoralizing employees (management rejecting employee ideas but presenting them as their own six months later; discouraging communication with anyone within the company, even for professional reasons; banning laughter because “if you’re laughing you’re not working”; and demanding salaried overtime of a few employees so management can work 20-30 hours a week instead)- just to name a few.
