Pros
The people are really nice Good work-life balance because the work is so effortless
Cons
The pay is abysmal but the work you are doing is so basic it honestly is probably appropriate. But therein lies the issue. Financial analysts, even the top performing ones are stuck in a position for 2+ years where you are doing what amounts to data entry and maybe some simple Excel tasks. If you want a future career in finance stay away because the level of finance being used that you will encounter in your first two years could be learned two weeks, generously. The learning curve is just such a steep decline and essentially flattens after two months. After that, you are essentially only learning skills useful if you wish to continue in the architectural industry. There is a lot of analyst turnover for the reasons above and it's weird just seeing colleagues just disappear and never be acknowledged again by management. Please only take this job if you are desperate for work but get out fast every year you spend you will fall further behind.
