Poor communication and punishments for improvements. - Payroll and Safety Administrator Prairie Meats Employee Review

Pros

Most of the people there are quite nice to work with, and the benefits package was substantial even if the direct pay was below the market average.

Cons

The pay was a little under the standard market rates for my position, and my position was expanded multiple times with no corresponding wage increases. Any efficiency improvements I made were punished, eventually resulting in my termination when the processes were improved so greatly that they "no longer required a full-time employee" for those tasks. Communication of expectations was non-existent, and some promises were never met. A "50% work from home" contract turned out to be "if you work from home, everyone assumes you don't work at all, so stop working from home".

Pros

Good management, good supervisory, good communication

Cons

Poor salary, maybe food industries are all the same, while the pay is hard to make your end meet.

Pros

All they can provide are basic instead of average.

Cons

1. Pay is low compare to what you've done. 2. Vacation pay is just at the ground level. 3. Only the SMART people knowing HOW to pretend they're hard working.
