Pros
I transitioned from being a middle school math teacher to this new career where I get to train on multiple Microsoft products ranging from Power BI, Power Apps, Azure, Excel, and more in February of 2020.
I came in with NO TECHNICAL experience or having heard of the majority of these programs knowing that I would soon have to train them. I was not nervous though because part of what this company does is train people how to use these products by giving live training sessions as well as On-Demand Recorded courses. After a few months of taking the classes and getting tremendous support from the trainers who already worked hear I was ready to start teaching the classes to others.
At this company, you can expect managers who care about your well-being, mental health, and life goals. They support you in whatever way is needed. They put benchmarks in front of you in order to earn salary raises and performance bonuses. I could not have landed at a better company than this for someone who switched career fields after 16 years of teaching.
The co-workers here are heads and shoulders above the rest. We get to have fun when we come to work as long as we put in 100% effort. The owners of the company give back to the community and are always willing to lend a helping hand.
If you are motivated the only limit to not growing with the company and growing your salary comes down to how much work you want to put in.
They provide great benefits from health insurance, to 401k matching, and paid time off.
Cons
The only con is I have to drive 20 minutes to get to the office :)
