Pros
You can continuously grow if you are willing to learn. Can't say you will be bored doing this job. There is too much to learn in the science.
Cons
I could see it scaring some people to try to learn. If you are good at taking notes, and if you are willing to put in your own efforts, you will be happy. If you're unmotivated, it is not a good fit.
