A 1 star company (would give 0 if I could) - Technician Power-Flo Technologies Employee Review

Excellent pay, great benefits, great team with a lot of experience. Management is doing a great job building an excellent culture here. Everyone goes out of their way to help each other but also not step on each others toes. The CEO clearly loves what he does and does everything he can to make the company and it's employees successful. He even called me personally when they extended my offer letter. On top of all of this, Power-Flo is a very diverse group of companies with one of the most impressive collection of value add offerings I have ever seen in my time in the automation and control industry.

No CRM systems like salesforce. Having one would make organization and keeping tabs on opportunities and pipeline much easier. It isn't the end of the world but it would be super helpful.

Extremely friendly coworkers While obviously deadlines do exist, I never feel particularly under pressure to finish a project in time. Very down to earth management You can make a lot of mistakes and your managers will have your back to help you learn. It feels like everyone knows my name and smiles when they see me(I kind of feel bad because I'm bad with names myself) Free bagels on friday Free coffee and hot chocolate Vending machine in the break room that is stocked with fun snacks The CEO remembered me despite us only speaking one time when I was first hired. Obviously this is just a job but my time spent with my managers has come to feel like extended family. I've never had a job quite like this one.

The starting pay is rather low Almost no raises Feels as though there is no job progression Management often disagree how to do the same job, so prepare to learn how to make the same thing several different ways to meet their individual requests Upper management has a lot of personality so expect some occasional bickering Sort of a rough commute as somebody who doesn't live locally The same free bagels.. every friday... The coffee is pretty bad There are going to be slow periods where you kind of just have to find something to do on your own because there is no new work coming in. Expect to be sent to other parts of the building or even on work sites if management can't find anything better to do with you. Seems like no option for remote work even for brief periods
