I worked in the Burlingame office for over a year. The managers for the payroll team are super unprofessional; they tend to over work their team and they are horrible listeners. The managers in this office likes to set unrealistic expectations and doesn't step in to support their team when needed. They also encourages "candid" feedback, but when given feedback, they get defensive and only listen to respond. They also don't value the growth of their employees and do only what is easiest to them and most convenient. Lastly, they don't take responsibilities for their actions and tends to blame their employees for their mistakes.
There's also not a lot of growth opportunities here in the CA office because it's too expensive to promote the employees here.
It's really sad because culture is suppose to be an important factor for the company, but because of the poorly chosen leaders, they lost many great employees.
