Working for a small business often means it’s “all hands on deck.” The upside of that environment is you may get to try something completely new and, in the process, learn that you are capable of doing anything.
Cons
Micromanagement here at its best. Your daily tasks are monitored by Ops no matter your position and your experience. You have to send a weekly email breaking down what your days consisted of by the minute. It decreases productivity and morale. Terrible work environment, but upper management does not care. No HR which leads to unpleasant situations. All previous employees are talked about in front of current employees and at times not in the best light. Little to no accountability, transparency, fairness and responsibility from upper management. Be prepared to experience or witness disrespectful yelling. Upper management is not updated with the latest technology or best practices that makes it's difficult to increase brand awareness, conversions, and placement due to their unwillingness to listen to others.
