Pros
The tech is about as interesting as you can get, considering health IT is about 30 years behind the curve. They'll probably get acquired by some nameless conglomerate in a few years, giving you a chance to work somewhere better.
Cons
It was exciting originally, but PokitDok grew so rapidly while the C-level grew ever less interested in running a decent business. A flood of salespeople came on who would tell customers anything they wanted to hear make commission and left the mess for support and engineers to clean up. Multiple layers of management fighting for territory make sure you'll always be on somebody's bad side. Problems get ignored or publically shamed. When your "chief people officer" gets a writeup in Forbes, and says her best tip is to provide a safe space for EXECUTIVES to air their concerns, the train is well off the rails.
