Upper management can be extremely negative which means a continuous feeling of misery to the organization. Although Pointman is not a startup and has been around for a number of years, it has a start-up feel in brand awareness. We are just getting our feet wet within the marketplace, and until we have more brand awareness, sales will be the driving force to our name. Unfortunately, that can bring upon a very slow-moving sales cycle which means a commission plan is almost impossible to hit. Base salary will be your only income for a bit, but eventually, it will go up, which comes with brand recognition.
Low room to grow within the organization at this time. Your opinions can feel as though they do not matter, and upper management will do what they want instead of listening to those around them. Things are CONSTANTLY changing and there is no communication to other teams about these items. Employee training is non-existent.
