Pros
There are many, but working with great people who want to drive a disruptive product in an untapped market is kind of the dream for most sales people. If you're looking for a Start-Up where you want to work hard and scale a business with passionate people it's perfect. The product is amazing, and the people building it are even more impressive. Working so closely with them is fascinating to see how quickly you can build a platform of this level. And their dedication to excellence is something to behold. Leadership are dynamic and supportive, not afraid to get in the trenches with you and run throw walls when needed. I've never been worried about failure at Pocketlaw and if you give 100% you'll get it back and then some. I believe this is a product, team and leadership that can go far in this market, but no one who ever built something special said it was easy. Finally, another review mentioned you get to visit Stockholm, which is also true!
Cons
I wouldn't lie and say it's really easy, and that prospects reply to every email and sign on the dotted line after one call. But if you're looking for a Series A Start-Up that's trying to take over its market. Then you'll be right at home. The natural Cons for a business at this size: * You have to work hard (harder than more established companies) * No one is going to hand you success * You have to take on full responsibility for success and failures * As a young company you're responsible for building credibility in your customer's eyes * You have to show up every day * You truly own the sales cycle (which should be exciting) * You have to drive your learning and reflect on why things may not have gone your way * You have to be a positive force, and live with optimism That being said, I've never felt a lack of support or guidance and this was what I hoped for joining an ambitious Series A. It's important to make sure you're ready for that when signing up.
