Pros
I have been at Plustar over 10 years and held a variety of roles within the company. As a smaller company (less than 50 employees) it has a very close, family feel with a diverse workforce. Roles range from Warehouse and Production to Account Services, Sales and Management. Employees are given opportunities to cross-train and advance with other roles and responsibilities - there are many examples of current employees who started in one role and been promoted into another as they grown within the company. Ownership does not shy away from investing in the company and people, they recently completed a 5,000sqft expansion of our Production Department to accommodate new equipment purchases to expand the company's capabilities. Management's doors are open to suggestion and discussion for all employees.
Cons
Plustar's team members are all dedicated to excelling in their roles and help hold each other accountable. Many of the roles are team based, so individuals who don't work well with others or are unwilling to put in the effort struggle in this kind of environment.
