Pros
It has been a great experience for me to be part of the QA team and to see it grow from 5 to 20. Lots of exposure, positive challenges that allows you to learn and grow at all levels. A very dynamic team that is focused on getting results and not get swamped in procedures, lots of support from management on career development. The team was handpicked to fit the culture and really managed to make a difference, from the usual "tired" qa teams that I used to know and work on, with the involvement and desire to deliver the best. There is a strong focus on getting people groomed and trained with constant in house or external trainings. Good overall benefits and since it was a startup salaries were above the local range. The work is managed very well and it allows you to keep a good balance work/life. Loved the free lunch and beverages and then the virtual events when working from home.
Cons
There are constant promotions in the team, due to the active growth, but for some senior positions it gets really hard to find something above thus might prove hard to grow and get new challenges from a certain point.
