Pitchup.com Response
3yThank you for sharing your feedback about your experience at Pitchup. We apologise for any negative experiences you had during your employment with us. We take issues like bullying very seriously and as such, conducted a thorough investigation in response to your formal complaint. As a result of this process, we took formal action and provided you with your desired outcome. We are committed to ensuring a respectful and inclusive working environment, and continue to monitor the situation actively.
Like many companies post pandemic, we had to adapt to new ways of remote working. While we still have in-person meetings and events, such as the recent Vue.js conference and a tech ‘all hands’ in London yesterday, we have found that Slack and other digital platforms have become more important as communication tools. We encourage the use of channels to facilitate collaboration, provide context, and support our remote team members. We have also implemented initiatives like Donut, a Slack app that arranges regular 'virtual coffee' chats to forge relationships across different teams.
We acknowledge that your experience was not positive, and appreciate your feedback. We wish you all the best in finding a more suitable position.
