Pros

I enjoyed working with the long time clients. It was a joy putting together the new linen collections for their home. I felt honored working for a long time standing company.

Cons

Sometimes it is difficult working for a small family business than a large corporation because you have to wear more hats than just the job position assigned to you.

Pros

A small, close-knit, family-run company in a fantastic location in downtown West Palm Beach. I was there 4 years and was treated very well. The owners and staff are friendly and it’s a great starting wage.

Cons

Because it’s mostly a seasonal clientele, it can feel a little slow in summers and sometimes too busy in winters, but that is the same for most retail in the WPB area.

Pros

My friend convinced me to interview for this company in college. I wasn't looking to work as I had just left a full time job. It turned out to be the most rewarding experience! While working at Pioneer Linens, I was exposed to many aspects of luxury design. As an intern, I learned about creating relationships with vendors and clients. I also had the privilege of accompanying the buyers to market. We selected items to stock for the next season. In the next season, I followed how items performed. To this day, the top of the bed is still very important to me.

Cons

Some of the systems were antiquated, but they were making improvements.
