Pros
Managers are flexible with your scheduling days off
Managers are very good people
Work atmosphere is chill
You have access to virtually any tools. Many times if the shop doesn't have a tool I need, I'll order it for the shop!
Freedom to propose new ideas and actually be heard (I've proposed buying/building certain computers, changing certain line items, changing pricing for labor, policy, ect.)
Very interesting work, always something new to learn
Paid Optional Company Meetings that are often something fun the company does as a whole (Playing video games on massive projector screens with pizza parties in a luxurious facility)
Your needs are heard and met
Technician discretion and flexibility on how to tackle situations/adjust pricing
The older negative reviews are unbelievable. I've never been discouraged from taking a break, or had any real negative experiences.
I feel the pay is all about how much you are worth. If you feel you are worth more, then show it and you will be compensated appropriately.
Cons
The standard of work that we are held to is high, we are above any other competitor. We are expected to be the most intelligent and reliable IT Experts. This may be a con to some.
